AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 47/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 02.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai Shimla alleging therein that on 02.03.2017 at about 07-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Jai Ram R/o Village Rasog, PO Paven, Tehsil Karsong, Mandi, age 51 years apprehended by them near Gumma and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.
A PUBLIC GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 24/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 02.03.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.03.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, seven persons namely Mohinder Singh, Diwan Chand, Rajneesh, Ravinder Singh, Vinod Kumar, Babu Ram & Suresh Kumar apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at Summerkot & recovered Rs. 4,560/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 44/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.03.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sewak Rak S/o Lt. Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Raunighati, PO Matyana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.03.2017, he was going to Raunighati in his vehicle. At about 08-15 PM, when he parked his vehicle near Raunighat, at the same time a Truck No. HP-62A-1711 (Ecomet) which was on the way towards Shimla from Matiyana, came rashly & rolled down 80 meter from the road, caused sustained injuries to six persons. The case is being investigated by HC Ajay Kumar, I/O PP Matiyana, PS Theog.
A COPY RIGHT ACT: Case FIR No. 46/17 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 03.03.2017 U/S 63,65 The Copy Right Act on the complaint of Sh. Sumesh Gagneja S/o Sh. Ramesh Gagneja R/o House No. 1585, Progressive Society, Sector-50 Chandigarh alleging therein that he is posted in Speed Search & Security Network Pvt. Ltd. authorized by United Overseas Trademark Co. 52 Sukhdev Vihar, New Delhi. Today on 03.03.2017, during survey the market at Lower Bazar Shimla, he came to know that M/S Metro Shop No. 110, M/S Kiran Gift, Shop No. 117, M/S Gopal Jee, Shop No. 93 and M/S New Mansarover Shop No. 111 Lower Bazar Shimla were selling the duplicate phone accessories (i.e. Apple I-Phone Beats and Skull Candy) registered by their companies.
During last 24 hours 460 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 176 & fine realized Rs. 60,000/- 101 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 10,400/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act.

Accused Karn Singh Nepali S/o Lt. Sh. Jeet Ram R/o C/o Sh. Bhoop Ram R/o Malyana, Shimla, arrested today in Case FIR No. 38/17 Dt. 28.02.2017 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS at PS East, is remanded in police custody upto 04.03.2017 by the Ld. Court.
Two accused namely i) Pranjya Kalthaik S/o Lt. Sh. Raman Kalthaik R/o Village Newati, PO Chopal, Distt. Shimla A/P Kuber Appartment Below CCD Sanjauli, Shimla, age 23 years & ii) Ankush S/o Sh. Bihari Lal R/o Village & PO Mandhol, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, age 23 years and iii) Karan Tanta S/o Sh. Bhagwan Singh Tanta R/o Village Mihana, PO Dochi, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 35/17 Dt. 28.02.17 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS New Shimla, today remanded in Police custody upto 06.03.2017 by the Ld. Court today.
Accused Rajeev Kumar S/o Sh. Hardyal Singh R/o Village Jalaiee, PO Surad, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 43/17 Dt. 02.03.17 U/S 451 323 326 504 506 IPC at PS Rampur, is on Police remand upto 04.03.2017.
