Crime Report on April 10, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 65/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.04.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Subhash Shastri, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.04.2017 at about 05-25 PM, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the residential house of Sewak Ram S/o Sh. Matku Ram R/o Village Lohrav, PO Dharech, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla and recovered 10 Bottles of Country liquor marka Santra from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Shastri, I/O PS Theog.

2. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 40/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 10.04.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Harpal Sing S/o Lt. Sh. Prem Nath R/o Village Himthala stated therein that on the intervening night of 09/10.04.2017, some unknown person has stolen away 18/20 Silver Chhatra from Nag Devta Mandir at Himthala and also broken the lock of Daan Patra. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

3. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 41/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 10.04.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Jeet Singh S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Halyana PO Shamathala, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 09/10.04.2017, some unknown person has stolen away a tyre of his vehicle No. HP-06A-5685, parked near Halayana. The case is being investigated ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj (Kumarsain).

4. During last 24 hours 211 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 117 & fine realized Rs. 35,100/-, 89 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9,000/- and 04 Challaned under Mining Act.

   FOLLOW-UP:        

1. Accused Rajender Singh @Raju @ Vishal S/o Sh. Jagdish Singh R/o Village Bhaleta Geora, PS Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 56/17 on 20.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar is remanded in Police Custody upto 11.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.    

2. Accused Surender Singh @ Chhinda S/o Sh. Avtar Singh R/o Village Jafarpur, PO Bagvedi, Tehsil & Distt. Patiala, Punjab, Age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 199/16 U/S 407 IPC at PS Dhalli, further remanded in Police custody upto 11.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Tareef S/o Sh. Umar Mohd. R/o Village Rosyaka PO, Tehsil & PS Kama Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, age 25 years, ii) Sakir S/o Sh. Harun R/o Village Indana PO Shingar Tehsil Ponhana Distt. Mewat, Haryana, age 26 years & iii) Amarjeet  S/o Sh. Mani Ram R/o Village & PO Ahroli Tehsil Lalganj, PO Bardan Distt. Ajamgarh, UP, age 44 years, arrested in case FIR No. 03/17 U/S 407, 120B, 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, is remanded in Police custody upto 12.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.
