AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No 72/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 14.04.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Chaman Lal Negi, I/O PS Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that today on 14.04.2017, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the shop of Govind Singh S/o Sh. Janki Dass R/o Village Sholi Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles of country liquor Marka Sntra from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal Negi, I/O PS Rampur, Shimla.
ATTEMPT TO THEFT: Case FIR No. 71/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 14.04.2017 U/S 379,511,34 IPC on the application of Sh. Dhanveer Negi S/o Sh. Lal Singh Negi R/o Village & PO Bharawali Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.04.2017 at about 06-00 PM, when he was present near Rajpura Power Project site and caught red handed three persons namely Chetan, Amar & Ajay, when they were trying to theft DG Generator from Power Project. One accused Ajay Kumar has been arrested by the police, whereas another two run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PP Taklech, Rampur.
MISCHIEF BY FIRE WITH THE INTENT TO DESTROY PROPERTY: Case FIR No. 68/17 has been registered at PS Theog has been registered on the statement of Sh. Ishwar Dutt S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Shai, PO Tiyali, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 13.04.2017, he parked his Truck No. HP-63B-0898 near Transformer. At about 05-45 PM, Sunil S/o Sh. Keshav Ram informed him telephonically that his truck is on fire. He went to the spot and found that some unknown person has knowingly set a fire in nearby bushes and burnt his truck. The case is being investigated by HC Adrash, I/O PS Theog.
A HOUSE TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on14.04.2017 U/S 451, 323 IPC on the Complaint of Sh. Danu Ram S/o Sh. Dhani Ram Thapa R/o Vill House No 11 New Colony Dak Pathar Tehsil Vikas Nagar Distt Dehradun UK A/P Tenant Ayub S/O Hanif R/O Old Bus Stand Nerwa Shimla alleging there in that on Dt 13.04.2017 at about 11.30 PM, one person namely Chunni Lal S/O Lt Sh Amar Singh R/o Vill Optua criminally trespassed in his house and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh I/O PS Nerwa.
During last 24 hours 288 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 148 & fine realized Rs. 58,800/- and 65 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,700/-.
FOLLOW-UP:
Accused Karan Kumar S/o Sh. Narayan Chand R/o Village Devdhar, PO Nevali, Tehsil & Distt. Kullu, HP, age 24 years arrested in case FIR No. 54/17 Dt. 12.04.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is remanded in Police Custody upto 17.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Ajay Kumar S/O Sh. Vijay Kumar R/o Vill. Dakolar PO Shingla Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla age 22 years, arrested in case FIR No. 71/17 Dt. 14.04.2017 U/S 379,511,34 IPC at PS Rampur, is being produced before Ld. Court.
