Crime Report On March 11, 2018.


  1. AN EXCISE :Case FIR No.16/18 has been registerd at PS Nankhari on 10.03.2018 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the Rukka of SI/SHO Chint Ram PS Nankhari therein that on 10.03.2018 at about 06.30 PM on secret information he alongwith staff conducted a raid in the shop of Lal Bhadur S/O Late Sh. Bal Bahadur R/o Vill. Munsi Kot, PO Gautam Gabij, Distt Rukkam Nepal,age 50 years A/P C/o Tara Chand house, VPO Kharahan, Tehsil Nankhari, Distt Shimla and recovered 07 bottles of illicit country liquor marked as Rangar The Santra from his possession. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Chint Ram PS Nankhari.
  2. ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 31/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East dated 10.03.18 U/S 353 342 506 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Chand S/O Sh. Billu Ram R/O Vill. Chibari PO Koti beja Tehsil Kasauli Distt. Solan A/P Posted as ASI in Traffic Wing Shimla stated therein that today on 10.03.2018, when he was performing his traffic duty at Kasumpti Bazar, a vehicle No. HP52A-1410(ZEN) came there and two persons got down from the above vehicle and throw a challan chit on his face and started to quarrel with him during performing his govt. duty. When he went to Police Ghumti to bring his mobile phone, in the mean time these persons came their and restrained him in gumti and also threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Raghubir Singh I/C PP Kasumpti.
  3. ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE IN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT THEFT OF PROPERTY CARRIED BY A PERSON: Case FIR No. 35/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar dated 10.03.18 U/S 356, 279, 323,504, 506 34 & 201 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sanjit Sharma R/o Ram Niwas, Malyana, Shimla-6 alleging therein that on dated 10.03.2018 at about 08.30 PM his car hit by another grey Car at near Panchayat Bhawan and ran away from there but he capture the above car near Hon’ble High court where the driver of above grey car got down from the car and beaten him and theft his mobile Nokia Lumia too. On this he went to police station and recovered the above mobile from his possession. The driver of above grey car also misbehaved with the police. The case is being investigated by HC Anil I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.
  4. A Forest : Case FIR No. 33/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on  11.03.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mohan Lal Range Forest Officer, Kotgarh alleging therein that on dated 07.03.2018 he alongwith raid team was on inspection duty towards Narkanda as he reached near Kandhyali, he found that 4 No. of Deodar trees bearing vol. 5.723 cube mtr were cut by some unknown culprit and were hidden there. The cost of above wooden was estimated as Rs 3,20,106/-.  The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Guleria I/C PP Narkanda, PS Kumarsain.
  5. A THEFT :Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on  10.03.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh Shashi Kant Sharma R/o Sector 4, New Shimla, Shimla-9 alleging therein that 8 No. of Solar Street Light batteries(75 AHr) installed in  various locations in Sector 4, New Shimla has been stolen away by unknown person. The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh I/O PS New Shimla.
  6. A THEFT : Case FIR No 27/18 has been registered at PS Rampur today on dated 11-03-18 U/S 379,34 IPC on the statement of Const Jitender Kumar of PS Rampur stated therein that he along with HHG Rajinder Singh 2/1-43 was on mining source at Duttnagar watch duty at about 3.00 AM when he was returned back to PS Rampur on the same time he heared some noisy sound and they saw that one Truck No HP62B-1800 was parked near under construction IPH water filter bed in the water scheme Kurpan to Thanedhar,Narkanda. There was lying IPH water supply Pipes which were loaded by some persons in the above parked truck. When they saw Police, all miscreants person run away from the spot due to dark/black night . One person namely Dhan Bahadur Nepali apprehended. The Case is being investigated by HC Gareeb Dass No 159 I/O of PS Rampur.
  7. During last 24 hours 571 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 329 fine collected Rs. 95,300/-, 19 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,900/- .
