Crime Report on May 15, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 66/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 14.05.2018 U/S 22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Vijay Kumar No. 05, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.05.2018 at about 03-20 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Mahendli Nalah, One Bolero Pick-Up No. HP63A-4484 alongwith two persons namely Pawan Chauhan S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Karchhari PO Sharontha Tehsil Rohru , Shimla, age 31 years & Aditya  Kumar S/o Sh. Bharat Bhushan R/o Village Karchhari PO Sharontha  Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, stopped by them for checking and during the search, 1.66 Gram (Chitta) Heroin recovered from their possession. The police has arrested both persons and the case is being investigated by HC Vijay Kumar No. 05, I/O PS Rohru.
2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 85/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 14.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.05.2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Fagu, Gallu & Lambidhar etc. At about 07-10 PM, on the secret information, they conducted raid in the Daily Needs Shop at Lambidhar of Sh. Hans Raj S/o Sh. Ramesh R/o Village Gallu PO Fagu Tehsil Theog, Shimla and recovered 10 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog.
3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 86/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 14.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Surjeet Singh, SHO PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.05.2018 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling/collection of intelligence alongwith staff, when they reached at Maipul, he got a secret information that one lady deals with illegal trading of liquor from her dhaba. On this, a raid has been conducted in her dhaba and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from her possession. The case is being investigated by SI Surjeet Singh, SHO PS Theog. 
4.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 45/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 14.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on  the rukka of SI Om Prakash, SHO PS Jhakri, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.05.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff at Majhewali, 10 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.1, recovered from the possession of Bharat Bhushan R/o Village & PO Majhewali Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Jhakri. 
5.     AN EXCISE ACT:  Case FIR No 67/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Ex. Act on the rukka of Insp. Jitender Kumar, SHO PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.05.2018, during patrolling along with staff at Meat Market Rohru,  04 Bottles of illicit Country Liquor marka Paradise Santra has been recovered from the possession of Rattan Bhadur S/O Sh. Nar BhadurR/O VPO Sheram Tehsil Rolpa Distt. Libang Anchal Rapti Nepal A/P Bhagat Chand Building Samala  and working in Dhaba C/o  Sohan Thakur Building Near Meat Market Rohru.  The Case is being investigating by Insp./SHO Jitender Kumar PS Rohru. 
6.    USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT TO PERFORM HIS GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 14.05.18 U/S 353 147 149 186 188 IPC on the complaint of SI/SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 12/13.05.2018, he alongwith staff was on law & order duty in Mela Ground near CH Sunni, where local people was organized a Jagran and kept the sound in very high volume. He requested the organizer to keep the sound in low volume. On this, local people (about 27) started to scuffle with him and used criminal force against them during performing govt. duty.
7.    A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 44/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 14.05.2018 U/S 451 323 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Surender Singh S/o Sh. Faqir Chand R/o Village Duguru PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.05.2018 at about 07-00 PM, a person namely Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Premu R/o Village Chanti Tehsil Rampur, came near the shop of Satpal  in drunken condition and started to abuse them. After that,  He trespassed in the premises of Surender Singh and pelting stone on him, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.
8.    A GRIEVOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 33/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 14.05.2018 U/S 451 325 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Umesh S/o Sh. Ghanshyam R/o Village Battua Tehsil & PO Shukrah District Kelvi Anchal Rapti Nepal, age 36 years stated therein that on 13.05.2018 at about 06-00 PM, two persons namely Puran and Sushil, beaten him brutally at village Malot, sustained grievous injury to him on right eye. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.
9.    During last 24 hours 433 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 269 fine realized Rs. 93,100/- and 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,100/-.
FOLLOW UP
1.    Accused i) Sunil Kumar @ Kaku S/o Sh. Jagat Singh R/o Village & PO Ladror Tehsil Bhoranu District Hamirpur, age 28 years  arrested in case FIR No. 48/18 Dt. 26.04.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Shimla-East, are remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.
2.    Accused Sanjeev Kumar @ Sanju @ Bangali S/o Lt. Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Village & PO Jahu Tehsil & PS Bharanj District Hamirpur, age 41 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 33/18 Dt. 26.04.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla.
3.    Accused Sunny Kumar S/o Sh. Ghanshyam R/o Village Katra Tikeri, PS Reyal, Distt Katra, J&K age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 17/18 Dt. 28.04.2018 U/S 420 IPC at PS Sunni, remanded in Police Custody upto 16.05.2018, by the Ld. Court.
4.  Accused i) Pawan Chauhan S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Karchhari PO Sharontha Tehsil Rohru , Shimla, age 31 years & ii) Aditya  Kumar S/o Sh. Bharat Bhushan R/o Village Karchhari PO Sharontha  Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 66/18 Dt. 14.05.2018 U/S 22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rohru, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
