Crime Report on May 18, 2018

  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 89/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on dated 17.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Inspr/SHO PS Sadar, Shimla stated therein that on 17.05.2018, during Patrolling duty at Sabzi Mandi Shimla, on secret information he raided in the Prem Dhaba Meat Market Sabzi Mandi Shimla-1 and found that he is habitual to keep liquour illegally and caught redhanded while he was serving the liquor to the customers and recovered ½ bottle of country liquor from the spot.
  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 17.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sohan Lal, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 16.05.2018, during Patrolling/ Nakabandi duty at Pujarli on the road leading to Chirgaon from Pujarli, one vehicle No. HP10A-4166 (Alto) driven by Bhagat Chand S/o Sh. Amar Sain R/o Village Sundha Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 46 years stopped by them for checking. During the search, 07 Boxes of Country liquor & 05 Bottles of Beer recovered from the above vehicle under his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Sohan Lal, I/O PS Chirgaon. 
  3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 27/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 18.05.2018 U/S 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Chint Ram SHO PS Nankhari stated therein that today during Patrolling duty he recovered 8 Bottles of Country Liqour from the possession of Dharam Pal S/o Sh. Sangat R/o Village Punan, PO & Tehsil Nankhari, Distt Shimla, HP.  The case is being investigated by SHO PS Nankhari.  
  4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 57/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 17.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Gopinder Pal, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 17.05.2018 at about 05-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff,  a vehicle No. HP01A-2753 alongwith driver namely Virender Singh S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Chamyana PO Kamla Nagar, PS Dhalli, Tehsil & District Shimla, stopped by them for checking on Mehli-Dhalli road near village Shakhrala. During the search, 36 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 recovered from the above vehicle under his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopinder Pal,  I/O PS Shimla East.
  5. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 88/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on dated 17.05.2018 U/S 420 467 468 471 IPC on the complaint of Sh Nathi Lal Negi W/o Lt. Sh. Shankar Singh Negi A/P Asstt. General Manager HP State Cooperative Bank Ltd. Branch office The Mall Shimla alleging therein that  Jogendra Central Cooprative Bank Solan is tyup wth his above Brach The Mall Shimla. On dated 18.06.13 a demand draft No. 70197 dated 18.06.13 amounting to Rs. 4 lacs received for clearance through Canara Bank Middle Bazar Shimla in the name of Santosh Singh S/o Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Durgapuram Road Agra, U.P. which was tempered by Santosh Singh by making Rs. 4000/- into 4 lacs. The amount Rs 4 lacs deposited in the account of above Santosh Singh.  
  6. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 32/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 18.05.2018 U/S 279 304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Inder Singh S/o Sh. Ram Saran R/o Village Khakhrona, PO Bohar, Tehsil Nerwa, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 17.05.2018 at about 10.30 PM, an Alto-800 No. HP-08A-2646 Met With An Accident At Nala And Fell Down About 150 Mtrs From The Road. In This Accident Accused (Dvr) Manoj S/O Sh. Shanti Ram Vill. Badwas Po Kamrau Distt. Sirmour And Age 33 Years Dead On Spot. The Case Is Being Investigated By Hc Ramesh Chand No 125 I/O PS Nerwa.
  7. Criminal breach of trust by clerk or servant Case FIR No. 123/18 has been registered at PS West on 17.05.2018 U/S 408 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yog Raj Sharma S/o Sh. Bal Krishan R/o Vill. Shenal, PO Baldeyan, Tehsil & Distt Shimla owner of vehicle No. HP 14C-9758(T) alleging therein that his driver Rajeev Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Vill. Thanpuri, PO Rajina, Tehsil Nagrota taken his above vehicle with the intention to criminal breach of trust by his above driver on dated 13.05.18 and kept his mobile switched off since then.
  8. During last 24 hours 351 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 151 fine realized Rs. 59, 800/- and 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/-.
